Surgery Overview
TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) surgery at Lee Animal Hospital is a highly effective procedure used to treat cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) injuries in dogs. This surgery stabilizes the knee joint by altering the tibial slope, reducing pain, and restoring mobility. Our skilled veterinary team utilizes advanced surgical techniques and state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the best possible outcome for your pet. We provide thorough pre-surgical evaluations, individualized post-operative care, and rehabilitation guidance to support a smooth recovery. If your dog is experiencing lameness or knee discomfort, contact us to learn more about TPLO surgery and schedule a consultation.
This is Phoebe, a sweet 3-year-old English Bulldog who came to us with a troubling limp in her left hind leg. Over the past month, her limp became more frequent, prompting her family to seek a second opinion after another hospital diagnosed a ligament tear and recommended surgery. After a thorough examination, Dr. Lee diagnosed a ruptured cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) and advised TPLO surgery.
On March 22, Phoebe underwent the surgery, and we’re thrilled to report that she’s now in recovery and on her way to feeling better!
