Surgery Overview
TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) surgery at Lee Animal Hospital is a highly effective procedure used to treat cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) injuries in dogs. This surgery stabilizes the knee joint by altering the tibial slope, reducing pain, and restoring mobility. Our skilled veterinary team utilizes advanced surgical techniques and state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the best possible outcome for your pet. We provide thorough pre-surgical evaluations, individualized post-operative care, and rehabilitation guidance to support a smooth recovery. If your dog is experiencing lameness or knee discomfort, contact us to learn more about TPLO surgery and schedule a consultation.
Meet Eshka, the brave Husky! When she first arrived at our hospital, she couldn’t walk, so we carefully brought her in on a gurney. Her owner was concerned about her mobility and wanted a TPLO consult. After a thorough examination and X-rays, Dr. Lee diagnosed her with a cranial cruciate ligament tear in both of her knees. On 3/1/25, our team performed TPLO surgery on her left knee to stabilize it and help her regain mobility.
This strong girl is already on the road to recovery and has her next TPLO surgery scheduled for her right knee soon! We can’t wait to see her back on all fours and running again. Sending lots of love to Eshka on her healing journey!
