Surgery Overview
A gentle soul with a growing mass, Jolly was ready for some relief.
He came to us with a chest mass that had been present for about two years. It was previously diagnosed as a fat pocket in 2022, but his owner noticed it had grown significantly—and Jolly had started scratching at it more often. Concerned for his comfort, they brought him to our hospital for a consultation.
We ran a full blood panel and radiographs to ensure it was safe to proceed and confirmed the mass was a lipoma (a benign fatty tumor). Dr. Lee performed the surgical removal, and we’re happy to report that everything went smoothly!
Jolly is now resting and healing with lots of love and care. We’re so proud of this sweet boy and his dedicated owner for taking action.
