Courage in Every Pawstep: Xena’s Triumph
Xena, a 10-year-old Border Collie mix, came in with a large fatty lump on her left front leg. After a thorough exam and cytology, we discovered it was a soft tissue sarcoma (STS) — an aggressive form of skin cancer.
Dr. Lee successfully performed surgery and achieved a complete resection. While high-grade STS can return, early detection and close monitoring make all the difference.
