After escaping overnight, Loki came home limping on his back left leg and was painful to the touch. After a thorough exam and radiographs, we found that he needed FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy) surgery.
Trauma such as a fall, jump, or unknown accident can damage the hip joint, causing pain and limping. In cases of hip fracture or dislocation, FHO surgery may be recommended to relieve discomfort and restore mobility.
We’re happy to share that Loki’s surgery went smoothly, and he’s healing very well and eating great!
