This sweet Shih Tzu came to us limping on her right hind leg, showing clear signs of discomfort and pain. After a thorough physical exam and radiographs, we discovered her kneecap (patellar) had slipped out of its normal position — a condition known as patellar luxation. Our team performed a patellar luxation repair surgery, and everything went smoothly. Throughout her recovery, she did wonderfully, and now she’s back to being her playful, happy self, moving comfortably and without pain again. Moments like this are why we love what we do.
