Cystotomy success for this sweet Shih Tzu!
This little girl was brought to our hospital after her owner noticed a small lump or bump in her abdominal area about a month ago. The lump had been slowly growing, so they wanted to have it checked out.
During her evaluation, X-rays revealed bladder stones that were causing her discomfort.
We performed a cystotomy to carefully remove the stones from her bladder, and the procedure was successful!
We’re so happy to see this sweet girl on her way to feeling more comfortable and hope she has a smooth and speedy recovery!
