Femoral Head Ostectomy – Mochi

Femoral Head Ostectomy – Mochi

Mochi’s FHO Surgery 🐾
Mochi, an 18-year-old Pomeranian, came to see us for difficulty walking and low activity. The owner had visited another hospital first but came to us for further care. X-rays showed that Mochi’s left femoral head was dislocated, and an FHO surgery was needed as soon as possible.

Common signs of hip dislocation in dogs may include limping, difficulty or reluctance to walk, decreased activity, pain when the hip is touched, holding up the affected leg, or sudden changes in mobility.

The surgery went smoothly, and Mochi did great throughout the procedure. We’re wishing this sweet senior girl a comfortable recovery and many more cozy days ahead
