Large Mass Removal – Patriot

Large Mass Removal – Patriot

Patriot: Fighting Through the Tough Times

Patriot came to us in rough shape, with a leg mass that had suddenly worsened overnight, causing inflammation and discharge. This 10-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier Mix had a mass that had been present for couple of years, but its rapid growth put him in urgent danger.

Though Patriot had eaten well in the past, he hadn’t gained weight and had recently lost his appetite. When he arrived, he was lethargic and low on energy.

Dr. Lee determined that urgent surgery was needed, and Patriot went into surgery the same day. The procedure was challenging, but thankfully, everything went smoothly.

Yesterday, Patriot came in for suture removal—and what a difference! He was happy, energetic, and on the road to full recovery. His suture site is healing beautifully. We’re so proud of Patriot’s strength and resilience!
