Oops! Boozy’s Jump Led to Surgery
Boozy, our playful 28-week-old Siamese, needed a little extra care after a jump went wrong!
A few days ago, his owner noticed he was limping, licking his back leg, and seemed a bit guarded. We took radiographs, which showed a fractured hock—the joint in his hind leg, similar to a human ankle. Because he’s young and the fracture needed prompt repair, we performed surgery the next day.
The location made it a tricky procedure, but it went smoothly! Boozy is now on the road to recovery, resting comfortably and getting lots of love from his family.
