Patellar Luxation Correction – Shiba Inu

Patellar Luxation Correction – Shiba Inu

Every step forward is a reason to celebrate!

A 5-year-old Shiba Inu came to us with intermittent limping in her back left leg, which had recently become more noticeable.

After a thorough examination and X-rays, we diagnosed her with bilateral medial patellar luxation, a condition in which the kneecaps slip out of their normal position.

She underwent patellar luxation surgery on both hind legs and has made a wonderful recovery! She is now fully healed and walking comfortably and freely without pain.

We’re so happy to see her back on all four paws and enjoying life again!
