Surgery Overview
Say hello to Joey, a sweet 24-week-old Terrier Mix who had quite an adventure. After falling off the bed at home, his concerned family rushed him to the ER, where they found a fracture in his left front leg. He was limping and had mild swelling, and the ER placed a temporary splint before referring him to us for surgery.
Joey came to see Dr. Lee for a surgical consultation, and after reviewing X-rays, we confirmed a radioulnar fracture. Given the urgency, Dr. Lee performed surgery that same day to realign and stabilize the bones.
We’re happy to share that the surgery went smoothly, and Joey is now healing like a champ! We’re so proud of this brave little pup and can’t wait to see him back on all four paws soon.
