Ella’s Tail Transformation!
Ella, a 6-year-old Shih Tzu Mix, was brought to us for a concerning mass on her tail that appeared infected. Her owner had already visited another hospital but wanted a second opinion. During our thorough exam, we found the mass could not be treated conservatively, so we recommended a tail amputation to ensure her comfort and prevent further complications.
Ella handled the surgery beautifully and is now on the road to a comfortable recovery! We’re so glad she’s on the path to feeling better and back to her happy, playful self!
