TPLO – Border Collie

TPLO – Border Collie

This 6-year-old female Border Collie came to us for a second opinion after showing persistent limping and reluctance to put weight on her back left leg. She had already been evaluated at another hospital, but her family wanted to explore all options.

After radiographs and a thorough orthopedic exam, our team diagnosed a torn cranial cruciate ligament (CCL). To restore stability to her knee and help her return to an active, pain-free life, TPLO surgery was recommended.

The surgery was a success, and her recovery has been wonderful. She has healed beautifully and is now walking comfortably again—no pain, just happy steps forward.

We’re so proud of her progress and grateful her family trusted our team with her care.
