Surgery Overview
Miklo, a 4-year-old Pit Bull Terrier, recently came to us after his owner noticed a popping sound in his right hind leg and occasional stiffness while walking. His previous vet had mentioned the issue might progress to his hips, so his family knew it was time for a closer look.
After a thorough exam and X-rays, we diagnosed a cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) tear in his right knee — a painful condition that affects joint stability.
To help Miklo regain comfort and mobility, Dr. Lee performed a TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) surgery. The procedure went smoothly, and Miklo is now resting and healing under the care of his loving family.
We’re excited to see him back on his feet and enjoying his favorite activities soon!
