Surgery Overview
Meet Ruby, a sweet and playful 3-year-old pup who recently visited our hospital for a consultation. Her owner was concerned—Ruby had been unusually quiet, had a decreased appetite, and just didn’t seem like herself.
During her exam, Dr. Lee found that Ruby had a damaged cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) in her left knee, which explained her discomfort and changes in behavior. After discussing treatment options, we determined that TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) surgery would be the best solution to relieve her pain and restore her mobility.
We’re happy to share that Ruby’s surgery went smoothly, and she’s now in the healing phase with lots of love, rest, and gentle care. We’re so proud of this brave girl and can’t wait to see her back to her energetic self soon!
