Surgery Overview
Sweet Skylar, a 5-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix, came to us after her owner noticed she had been limping on her left hind leg for about 3 months. The limping would come and go, often getting worse after she jumped down from certain areas or engaged in heavy exercise. Her owner also noticed she was sensitive when the leg was touched.
After a thorough physical examination and radiographs, Dr. Lee diagnosed a cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) injury. TPLO surgery was recommended to stabilize her knee and relieve her discomfort.
We‘re pleased to say everything went well during surgery, and Skylar is now on the road to recovery! Sending lots of love to this sweet girl as she heals.
