Helping Mochi Get Back on His Paws.
After a jump gone wrong, 6-year-old Mochi the Maltipoo began limping on his back left leg and came to us for care. Mochi’s owner first took him to an emergency hospital, where a torn ligament was suspected, and then came to our team for a second opinion. After a thorough orthopedic exam and radiographs, we confirmed that Mochi needed TPLO surgery as soon as possible.
We also performed pre-operative bloodwork to ensure he was healthy for anesthesia, and the results looked great.
The surgery was successful, and Mochi did very well throughout the procedure. We’re so proud of Mochi and grateful his owner trusted our team with his care. Wishing him a smooth recovery and many happy steps ahead.
